Self Portrait Linocut

Linocut, 12"x12", 2008.

This is a proof of my first print in my printmaking survey class. My first experience with linocuts, and printing in general if you don't count that time in elementary school where we made prints using styrofoam trays. I'm not too big on 2D work as it is, and really, printmaking is kind of killing me with the insane amount of work and time it takes, but I was at least decently happy with how this piece turned out. I thank (go check out her stuff!) for the inspiration to add the gears/tree.

This image is just a proof, not the final print that I turned in, and it's also not the greatest photo, so when I get the final print back, I'll take a better picture and replace this one.
